European-style renovation of a narrow SoHo loft building where the elevator opens directly into the residence.
Microcement bathrooms, restored original brick feature wall, restored antique tin ceilings, and extra-wide long-plank flooring (approx. 12″). Level 5 finish.

The client wanted a European sensibility that preserved the building's original character — restoring rather than replacing period elements. The building's narrow footprint and direct-elevator access made logistics and material handling a constant constraint. The client was based in the Netherlands and traveled in for meetings.
Solution:

URBEX preserved and restored the original brick and antique tin ceilings, executed microcement bathrooms, and installed extra-wide plank flooring — coordinating every delivery and trade around the building's access limitations.
Result:
The client was delighted with the outcome — she flew in for meetings and brought cookies for the crew on weekends. A ten-month relationship, not just a job.
